Cholmondeley Pageant of Power is set to be better than ever in its seventh year as legendary rock band Status Quo have been announced to play on the first night of the festival, Friday 13th June 2014.

Last year’s Pageant of Power saw record numbers in attendance to witness the high-octane attractions, delighting car enthusiasts & families alike. With a host of unique cars, boats & planes on show to satisfy even the most ardent speed fanatic, Status Quo will add a touch of rock & roll to proceedings on the opening night of the event.

Quo are one of the most recognised & successful bands in British history, with 64 hit singles & 22 in the Top Ten since their first hit, ‘ Pictures of Matchstick Men’, in 1968.

The band will kick off three days of amazing sights & sounds & explosive power on track, water & in the air. Among the numerous attractions will be the famed Supercar paddock, aerial acrobatics & daredevil water stunts on the water.
