Formed in 1964, the Junco Partners started out playing to North East crowds in Newcastle & Sunderl&. They later went on to play alongside the likes of The Who & Rod Stewart & when the band split in 1971 individual members played alongside great artists such as Elkie Brooks & Robert Palmer.

After reforming once again in 1977, they gained wide success, capturing new audiences & attracting the attention of Television & Music producers. Now returned to their R'n'B roots, they continue to receive fantastic support from a growing & enthusiastic audience playing only at a few well selected gigs.

The band grew out of the earlier Fiddler's Dram & their side project Oyster Ceilidh B&. The name Oyster comes from the group's early association with the coastal town of Whitstable in East Kent, known for the quality of its oysters.

Their first album, released under the Oyster Ceilidh Band name, was Jack's Alive (1978) on the Dingles record label. Subsequent albums, as Oyster Band (sometimes The Oyster Band) were released on the band's own Pukka Music label: English Rock 'n' Roll: The Early Years 1800–1850 & Lie Back & Think of Engl&, followed by Liberty Hall & 20 Golden Tie-Slackeners.

A cosmopolitan three piece from Gothenburg, Sweden – featuring Tobias Winterkorn (keyboards), Elias Araya (drums) & José González (vocals & guitar), the latter of whom you’ll be familiar with from his solo work – Junip have existed since 1999, maybe even 1998. It’s so long, frankly, that none of them are quite sure.

For the first time ever fans will be able to see Justin Fletcher’s favourite characters brought together on stage as Justin & Friends prepares to rock arenas across the UK in Easter 2013. Gigglebiz favourites including Nana Knickerbocker; Lost Pirate; Arthur Sleep & Keith Fit will be joining the fun alongside a host of Tumbles from Something Special. Lord Tumble, Grandad Tumble & Cliff Tumble will star alongside Mr Tumble in a spectacular show presented by CBeebies Live!

“I’m incredibly excited about bringing so many characters to life on stage for a live audience” said Justin Fletcher MBE. “ We’re using all of our showbiz ingenuity to bring them all together for the first time in a terrific new arena show.”

Joining Justin on his adventures will be his friends Robert the Robot & Little Monster from Justin’s House, as Justin prepares to put on a spectacular rock & roly-poly show for a very special visitor!

Justin is on the lookout to find everyone’s special talents & needs you! He will be joined on tour by Nina from Nina & the Neurons, to make sure everything goes according to plan; the adventurous Andy Day who will leave no stone unturned & Katy Ashworth who will cook up a storm.
