The now proven range of Pro 2 hubs have gone from strength to strength since they were launched. Countless tests, reviews & of course rider feedback have shown that the Pro 2 is everything that it was designed to be. The new Hope Pro 2 EVO Rear Hub has a couple of noticeable changes
- first is that it now runs stainless steel bearings throughout, bringing it inline with the Pro 3. These means longer life, smoother, free running & even more value for your money. With the bearing change comes a new axle. Running on five cartridge bearings, the old 15mm axle is now replaced with a 17mm version. This means total compatibility with Maxle & Maxle Lite (reg) 12mm bolt through. The hub features a one piece 7075 aluminium rotor body & pawl carrier. Four pawls engage into a twenty-four tooth steel ratchet which is fixed into the hub shell & is sealed with a frictionless, non contact labyrinth seal. All Pro 2 hubs are standard 6 bolt disc compatible. The hub shell is machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aluminium.

Hope Pro2 EVO Trials/Singlespeed Rear Hub

The Hope Pro2 EVO Trials/Singlespeed hub is a continuation of the standard Pro2 hub. With the main technical specification of the standard hub, the Pro2 Trials/Singlespeed has the same 24 tooth, 4 pawl configuration - but in an offset design, so that the engagement becomes 48t. This gives almost instantaneous drive - perfect for trials and decreasing wear and damage caused by the pawls engaging in the ratchet. The hub also has a specific shortened steel cassette body, which will take up to 6 cogs. The hub comes as standard with a spacer kit and 2x M10 bolts and serrated caps. The internals have also had a rolling change on bearings, with the stainless steel cartridges now being used throughout, along with an improved needle roller bearing in the back of the barrel.
