The resistance levels are changed by the operation remote shifter & the 10 slope positions have to be changed manually. The Satori is a great trainer to have for simple sessions before & after a race. The Satori works with a magnetic brake. The position of the magnets can be altered so that the resistance is adjustable & the trainer comes with a handlebar resistance lever, which the resistance can be set in 10 positions, giving a different road gradient feel in each position. With these different positions a climb or headwind can be simulated. The roller at the back is made from a soft gel rolling cylinder with a stainless steel running surface for sound-deadening & wear-resistance.
