The XT M8000 I-Spec II Disc Brake Assembly from Shimano is a Powerful fully bled XT hydraulic Servo Wave disc brake. It comes without rotors or adapters, giving you complete freedom to customise the brake to suit your set up. The brake uses a short stroke Servo-Wave mechanism which allows quick pad engagement & more power for aggressive riding. The oversized 22mm twin phenolic pistons optimize heat insulation as well as keeping the brake lightweight & stiff. To complement the pistons, inside the calliper are sintered brake pads, however by using Ice Tech alloy fin pads you can further improve heat radiation & in turn the performance of the brake. The Caliper uses a forged design which means it can be lightweight & stiff & the lever is Alloy forged for optimum strength & reliability. The lever also features reach & stroke adjustment on a hinged brake with a shim-less mounting system to make installation, setting up & adjustments quick & easy. The brake comes fully bled with Mineral Oil which is a non-corrosive & less hazardous then conventional fluid. In this kit you also get a spare olive & insert in case you decide to cut down the hose from its standard 1000mm (Right H&, Front). Available in Right h&, Black only.
