The Campagnolo Shamal Ultra Tubular Wheelsets have always been known for their excellent performance, but now Campagnolo have made the G3 spoke pattern better. The Mega G3 spokes are oversized, lighter & stronger. This has been achieved by a new production process that reduces the thickness of the rims but not the well-known strength of Campagnolo wheels. As for smooth riding, Shamal Ultra wheels are fitted with USB (Universal Serial Bus) ceramic bearings that improve smoothness, extend the wheels' life time & further reduce their weight. The wheel hubs will still be made from carbon fibre with aluminium flanges. The new features are accompanied by new, feisty graphics. These new high end Wheelsets represent a big step ahead in terms of performance & reactivity. To optimise the key features of a road bike wheelset, such as weight, aerodynamic & stiffness, engineers at Campy Tech Lab are always working very hard implementing new technologies.
