This unique collaboration between Ye S & Globe delivers a stunning, high-performance snowboard that is designed to deliver class-leading freestyle performance across the whole mountain. Inspired by RDM, DCP & JP, this stunning snowboard is a tour de force of advanced design & build. Built around Yes's innovative Volume Twin shape, The Ye S Globe Traditionalist delivers a fully balanced overall ride. Still, with a slight increase in volume at the nose, it also delivers a level of performance away from the park that you just wouldn't expect from this type of board. Internally, the Globe Traditionalist takes advantage of some of the most advanced construction & materials available, transforming it into one of the best riding freestyle/all-terrain boards on the market. So, if you're looking for a board that's going to kill it in the park, but also kill it out on the mountain, then the Globe Traditionalist might just be the perfect board. Rider Style: Advanced all-terrain freestyle riders The Globe Traditionalist is aimed at strong intermediate to expert riders who are looking for a balanced all-terrain board that delivers stunning performance across any terrain. Shape Overview: Volume Directional Twin The Globe Traditionalist's state of the art directional twin shape delivers stunning performance over the whole mountain. Utilising a more all-terrain focussed blunt tip & tail shape, Yes's designers have still managed to cut swing weight down to an absolute minimum. However, thanks to the increased volume in the nose, not only does the Globe Traditionalist deliver a balanced & predictable freestyle ride, but it also delivers exceptional performance when you want to get out & about on the mountain. Now to give the board a predictable & stable feel, Yes utilise a more traditional radial sidecut. Profile: Camber As the Globe NSB is all about high performance, Yes replace the more rider-friendly Cam Rock profile with their powerful & responsive traditional Camber. By starting the full-length camber profile just after the contact points, you get all the benefits of a conventional camber, but you also create a smoother hook-free ride. This updated Camber profile dissipates the rider's energy more evenly along the board's edge length giving a more stable & responsive ride as the edge is engaged along its full length. Construction Now, this is where things start to step up regarding performance. Heading up the Globe Traditionalists stunning construction is advanced Carbon Powerdrive 2.0 wood core. Combining durable poplar, lightweight paulownia & snappy bamboo, it gives the board a poppy & responsive flex through the length. This is then powered up even further by the addition of two channels milled into the core 30mm in from the edges running parallel to the sidecut, into which Yes insert pre-bent bamboo stringers wrapped in carbon fibre. These rods power up the sidecut to deliver mind-bending levels of edge hold & power. Next up are the Globe Tradionalist's structural layers. Formed from responsive carbon-reinforced tri-ax glass, they increase the boards' torsional flex ensuring that no matter how hard you ride or how aggressive you want to get, this is one board that can take it all in its stride. Base: Sintered The Globe Traditionalist utilises a super-fast true sintered base. Keep this waxed, & there won't be many boards out there that can keep up.
