Multi-award-winning all-terrain freestyle board that rewrote the rule book As the board that put Yes Snowboards on the map, the Basic still stands out today as one of the market's best performing price point snowboards. This multi-award-winning all-terrain freestyle board delivers a level of performance that transcends its price, making it the perfect choice for riders of all ability levels. Whether you're a newcomer to the sport or even a more seasoned rider, the Basic's innovative design & construction deliver an easy-going ride with a level of performance that is nothing short of remarkable. The fact that the Basic won White Lines Magazines editors choice Board of the Year for 2 years on the trot is a testament to how good the Basic rides. Built around a versatile twin chassis & featuring Yes's advanced Under-Bite sidecut profile, the Basic is quite simply the best value for your money all-terrain freestyle board on the market. Rider Style: All Terrain Freestyle, All Abilities The Basic is aimed at beginners through to expert riders who are looking for a more balanced all-terrain board that delivers an easy-going ride without compromising out & out performance. Shape Overview: Twin Tip The Basic's twin shape gives it a more balanced freestyle feel, so not only does it ride great on the mountain, but it's entirely at home when you want to hit up the park. However, what makes the Basic a genuinely outstanding board is the addition of the unique Under Bite edge profile. Under Bite edges re-distribute a rider's weight in such a way that it enhances ease of turning & edge hold. Creating divots inward at the binding area reduces & disrupts the surface area of the edge that has contact with the snow while the board is turning. These increase the edge pressure by distributing your weight/energy into the areas where it's needed most. From the binding out & through the centre of the board where the carving arc is taking place. This segmentation of the sidecut into three principal zones focuses your body weight into areas that initiate, hold & release turns. Profile The Basic's 4-4-4 Cam Rock profile combines even rocker zones at the tip & tail with an even camber through the middle of the board. This innovative profile creates hook-free zones at the contact points, ensuring that when you hit the park, you'll get that more reassuring feel when riding rails or pressing boxes. That rockered uplift at the front is also going to add extra float in the pow, so even though the Basic is a twin, it's going to perform great everywhere. That versatility is carried over into the responsive camber. This extends from just before the insert packs & gives the board that more robust & reassuring underfoot feel that you only get from cambered boards. Construction The Basic is the perfect example of that old saying, 'sometimes less is more. Reading through the spec list, what you get is a traditional snowboard construction without any of the headline-grabbing super tech many brands flag up. However, that's not bad because Ye S uses a high-quality poplar wood core wrapped with high-quality bi-ax glass fibre. These two materials are the building blocks for a great snowboard; everything else at this price point is just fluff. So, what you get is a board that gives the perfect balance of pop, control & playfulness. everything that you could ever ask for with this kind of board. Base The low maintenance, easy repair extruded base delivers excellent performance in all conditions, all without the need to be continuously waxing it. Board

Yes's Uninc collection is a homage to yes founders Romain De Marchi, DCP & JP Solberg's legendary years at the helm of the iconic Uninc range. They've each chosen a board from the current Yes collection & have tailored it to exactly how they want it, with their own choice of graphic & spec. Romain De Marchi's's choice is his take on Yes's classic Basic. Taking the regular Basic as his starting point, Romain has worked with Yes's engineers to step up the spec to deliver a stunning freestyle focussed all-terrain board that has the performance to blow the mind of even the most accomplished rider. Taking full advantage of the Basics state of the art blunt-tipped twin shape & ingenious Underbite sidecut technology, the Uninc Basic delivers a balanced playful ride.  Now combine that with a level of on-piste performance that you wouldn't expect from such a freestyle focussed board, then add the Slam-Back inserts for those powder days, & you've got a twin that is a genuinely versatile all-terrain charger. But it's not just the shape that makes this board. Yes has stepped up the construction several notches, creating a responsive & powerful flex that gives you the confidence to take the Unic Basic to the absolute limits. So if you're after a high-performance board that can deliver both freestyle & all-terrain performance, this is one board you need to have on your shopping list. Shape Overview The Basic Uninc shares the same true twin shape as the Basic giving it a more balanced freestyle feel, so not only does it ride great on the mountain, it's entirely at home when you want to hit up the park. - from the binding out & through the centre of the board where the carving arc occurs. This segmentation of the sidecut into three key zones focuses your body weight into areas that initiate, hold & release turns. Profile The Uninc Basic's camber profile is an update of what we would call a traditional camber. By starting the full-length camber profile just after the contact points, you get all the benefits of a conventional camber, but you also create a smoother hook-free ride. The Camber profile dissipates the rider's energy more evenly along the board's edge length giving a more stable & responsive ride as the edge is engaged along its entire length. Construction As you would expect for Romain De Marchi's board, the Uninc Basic doesn't hold back when it comes to construction. Heading up its high-quality build is the advanced wood core. This combines durable poplar & lightweight paulownia with bamboo stringers running through the centre to deliver a poppy & powerful flex through the length of the board while reducing overall weight. To this, Yes then create structural layers formed from a torsionally responsive tri-ax weave glass fibre. This stiffens up the torsional flex of the board, ensuring that no matter how hard you push, you can be confident that the Uninc Basic can take it all in its stride. Base As the Uninc Basic is all about performance, Yes step up the base material to a True Sintered. The Ye S Dicey is a new addition to the their range for 2021 & is aimed squarely at the park rider who's looking for a technical performance board that won't break the bank. Sharing its shape & profile with Yes's highly acclaimed & state of the art Jackpot, the Dicey is the ideal choice for snowdome & park riders. Built around a fully balanced, blunt profile twin shape, it delivers all the feel & control that you could ever need. That control is then further enhanced with the Mid-Bite sidecut. This creates a wider platform under the feet, allowing you to ride shallower angles without creating too much toe & heel overhang, all without compromising board response & control. The result of this is an ultra-stable board, but one which delivers surprising performance when you want to get out of the park. Rider Style: Park & Freestyle riders The Dicey is the perfect board for entry-level to advanced riders who want the balance & control of a freestyle board, but who still want a board that's going to perform out of the park. Shape Overview: True Twin with Mid-Bite The Dicey's state-of-the-art blunt profile twin-tip shape delivers a balanced overall feel ensuring that you have all the control & feel that you could ever need. As per the Jackpot, the Dicey also features the class-leading Under Bite edge profile. This unique design pulls in the edges between the insert packs, allowing the designers to create a wider, more stable board under the feet without compromising edge to edge feel & response. Profile: 2-4-2 Cam Rock The Dicey utilises the balanced 2-4-2 version of Yes's Cam Rock profile. This combines low profile rocker zones at the tip & tail with a more pronounced camber through the middle of the board, creating hook free zones at the contact points while cutting down overall swing weight. This combination adds both control & feel to the board. By utilising a more pronounced camber between the feet which works in harmony with that Mid Bite; the Dicey delivers a level of response & control on the piste that is nothing short of remarkable for a freestyle board. Construction The Dicey is the perfect example of that old saying 'sometimes less is more'. Reading through the spec list, what you get is a traditional snowboard construction without any of the headline-grabbing super tech many brands flag up. UnderBite edges re-distribute a rider's weight so that it enhances ease of turning and edge hold. Creating divots inward at the binding area reduces and disrupts the surface area of the edge that has contact with the snow while the board is turning. Product Description

As per the Basic, it's the addition of the unique Under Bite edge profile which creates the boards unique riding performance. Under Bite edges re-distribute a rider's weight so that it enhances ease of turning & edge hold. Creating divots inward at the binding area reduces & disrupts the surface area of the edge that has contact with the snow while the board is turning. These divots increase edge pressure by distributing your weight/energy into the areas where it's needed
True Sintered is harder & more expensive than extruded, & it can be faster for those that ride aggressively fast.
