The Jam has consistently been one of our favourite boards. Every year when we do our staff test it always gets the most reviews & is generally the first board out the door in the mornings. This is down to its jaw dropping all terrain performance that will blow away even the most cynical rider.
The way it combines race board reaction on piste with the ability to put it down over the rest of the mountain leaves many a board costing a whole lot more quaking in its wake. To give the Jam its stunning performance, Bataleon fit it with their directional All Terrain Triple base. The most versatile of the TBT profiles uses a narrower flat centre section with longer TBT upturns to give the board a more turning focused ride without compromising stability & pow potential. Internally the Jam takes no prisoners with its construction.
The starting point is the Reactor wood core, this poplar core features hardwood stringers down the edge to give the board more power where it’s needed. This is then wrapped with tri-ax glass structural layers reinforced with carbon stringers running tip to tail to increase pop through the length & Kevlar underneath to smooth out the ride. Finally the high grade sintered base gives the Jam a super fast glide in all snow conditions.
