Since its launch the Hail very quickly established itself as the must have freestyle boot, its combination of performance & comfort gave it a reputation that was impossible to ignore. Over the years Burton have refined & redeveloped the Hail so that it still stands out as an exceptional boot all these years later. The secret to the Hail’s success lies in its Articulating Cuff, this allows the boot to flex freely for a smoother delivery of power giving the rider more control & precision; it also prevents the upper bagging out which can result in less response. In addition the upper features special Flex Notches & a Flex Spine Backstay, these allow the boot to flex in a specific way to optimise the performance for freestyle riders. Internally the Hail features a skate inspired Stay-Puft tongue which works in harmony with the new Imprint 3 liner with Rad Pad, this custom fit liner features a pre-curved panel which dissipates lace pressure to give a super comfortable ride. Finally it all sits on a new freestyle inspired Outsole that features Dual Density EVA cushioning that is specially profiled to allow the foot to roll naturally, reducing fatigue on the joints & muscles but also really allowing you to bone out those tricks.
