The Nahaul is Slash's take on the new generation of shaped freeride boards & is the big mountain weapon of choice for Manuel Diaz. However unlike most of its competitors, Slash has designed the Nahual to be more than just a hard charging powder board. Thanks to its innovative directional twin chassis, not only does it deliver a floaty & stable high speed ride, it also delivers a control & balance that you just don't expect with this type of board, enabling riders to take their freestyle riding to the backcountry. The Nahual is more than just a quiver board, with its flat profile & Ultimate Traction edges this is one board that is equally happy charging over the rest of the mountain, so if you just want a great performing snowboard for blasting around you really won't find this wanting in any way, shape or form. Internally Slash doesn't hold back when it comes to the Nahual's construction, it's jam packed with state of the art design & materials, underlining its performance credentials. Heading this up is the lightweight Powder core, this combines paulownia & poplar with beech stringers, creating a feather weight but lively & dynamic foundation to the board. To this Slash add structural layers formed from a combination of Bi-Ax glass on the lower band & Tri-Ax on the upper. This gives the Nahual the optimum torsional flex for riding fast without really compromising the boards freestyle characteristics. But that's not all, in addition Slash also utilise their Carbonbon carbon bracing & the carbon/ kevlar Landing Strip technology. These add carbon cross braces between the base & lower structural layers & carbon/kevlar strips running from the nose & tail to the inserts & add another layer of pop & power to this stunning snowboard. Finally the high speed sintered HD gives unrivalled glide no matter the conditions. Slash Spectrum 2016/2017 Snowboard

Last season Gigi introduced the all new Spectrum to the Slash range, everyone who rode it was blown away by how well it rode but the main feedback he got was that it was far too stiff for a board that is primarily intended for the urban rail rider.

Product Description

Last season Gigi introduced the all new Spectrum to the Slash range, everyone who rode it was blown away by how well it rode but the main feedback he got was that it was far too stiff for a board that is primarily intended for the urban rail rider. So for this season, taking on board that feedback Slash has tweaked the construction of the Spectrum to give it that more urban friendly feel & in doing so has created one of the very best urban/rail boards out there.

Built around the same low profile blunt nose twin tip chassis & Zero Camber Flat profile as last season, the Spectrum delivers a progressive & balanced ride, perfect for when you need the ultimate in control. It's once you get inside the board that you'll see the changes though, in comes the more playful Dual Wood core which gives the board its more jib focussed ride.

However, one of the key features of last years Spectrum that everyone loved so much was the ingenious Reactive Flex structural layers, & thankfully the new model has managed to retain these. This unique manufacturing process allows the structural layers to alter the shape of the board to specific styles of riding. For example when you board-slide a rail the Reactive flex pulls the board's edges up, creating a convex shape across the width, minimising the chances of hooking up. Then, when the board is pushed into a turn, the base forms a concave shape forcing the Ultimate Traction edges into the snow, improving edge hold. This ability to change its feel so dramatically makes the Spectrum perfect for serious riders who are unwilling to make any compromise on performance.

Finally to give great glide across all snow conditions Slash utilise a high quality sintered base.
