The Airfoil 3D is packed full of Leki's top-end technologies & suited to piste skiers who like to go fast. Starting with the construction, they are made using a robust 7075-grade aluminium (HTS 6.5) wrapped to a 14mm diameter to keep the weight down. The Airfoil 3D shape improves the aerodynamics & controls unwanted vibrations. The pole is equipped with Leki's 3D Trigger system, their safest system yet, which has a massive release angle of 220o allowing the pole to separate from the strap in the event of a fall. The Trigger release button makes it quick to click in/out of your poles with no need to remove the straps; the grip itself has four finger notches, is made from non-slip rubber, & designed with Leki's 8o positive angle giving you maximum control & all-day comfort. An adaptor cap enables gate guards to be fitted or Leki's Go Pro mount to be attached (not provided). A 50mm alpine basket is used along with a toughened carbide tip that gives grip & precise pole planting in the firmest of conditions. The Trigger system is compatible with all Trigger straps & gloves.
