The Hawx Prime 110 S brilliantly balances comfort, precision & performance whilst being noticeably lighter than previous versions. Prolite means a stiff chassis for power & an integrated softer plastic that wraps around the foot for even pressure distribution & increased sensitivity. Memory Fit makes the most of this design, allowing the shell to be moulded to the skier’s foot – personalisation that is enhanced by the Memory Fit 3D Gold Liner with Thinsulate. This combination produces a long-lasting customised shape with a uniform pressure & excellent foothold. Ability Level Overview Fit Medium fit around the heel & ankle, medium to high instep, medum to wide across the forefoot. Shell PU Memory Fit shell & cuff, mouldable. The advanced heat fitting technology of Memory Fit creates a fully personalised shell & cuff in minutes. The key is Memolink, a special additive that improves the mouldability & stretch characteristics of the plastic. The boot shell is heated in an oven, then the skier’s foot is placed inside the complete boot whilst it cools. With the foot’s natural standing pressure, the forefoot of the boot can expand up to 3mm per side & the ankle area up to 5mm per side. Liner 3D Gold Thinsulate, mouldable. Thermoformable material is used in the heel, ankle & midfoot areas. The liner is heated in an oven & is cooled to form to the shape of the skier’s feet. 3D means pre-shaped heel & ankles areas for better foot hold & comfort. Thinsulate is the world’s best-known insulation & its use keeps feet warmer. Key Features Prolite Prolite is a way of building skis & boots that turns traditional thinking on its head.
