FRee STYLe POWe RHOUSe THAT’S NOT FOR THe FAINT He ARTe D The Helix is aimed at experienced riders who are looking for a high-performance freestyle board that is equally happy hitting giant park booters as it is blasting around the mountain. Built around a state of the art asymmetric twin shape & featuring Rides powerful Carbon Array 3 construction, this unique snowboard is the perfect choice for those snowboarders who are unwilling to compromise on any aspect of how the board rides. So, if you’re an advanced rider & you’re looking for a board that you know is going to deliver, no matter how hard or how extreme you push it, then this award-winning game changing snowboard could just be what you’re looking for. Rider Style Advanced to expert freestyle riders who are looking for a high-performance board that is equally happy hitting giant park booters as it is blasting around the mountain. Shape Overview The award-winning Helix is built around a state of the art asymmetric twin-tip shape that has been specially created to deliver the ultimate in response & control. Featuring an advanced blunt profile tip & tail shape, the Helix looks for all the world like a park board, but the reality is, it’s a lot more than that. That blunt tip & tail shape has been specially engineered to deliver a level of performance over the whole mountain that you wouldn’t expect from this type of board. Key to that outstanding performance is the Asymmetric sidecut design. This innovative anatomically correct technology places a deeper sidecut on the heelside edge, providing more leverage on a backside turn, offsetting the bodies inability to drive power onto the heelside edge in the same way it does on the toeside. This improves heelside turn initiation & control & delivers a more balanced feel overall. Profile The Helix’s Asymmetrical Twin Hybrid Camber profile combines a small amount of rocker at the contact points with a more aggressive & responsive camber under the feet. The rocker frees up the contact points giving the board a slightly more playful & predictable feel as well as adding a little lift in the pow. However, as the profile is predominantly camber, you still get all the pop, power, drive & stability that only a traditional camber profile can deliver.  Construction Internally the Helix doesn’t hold back underlining the performance nature of this board. Heading up the high-end construction is the Performance core. Constructed from a combination of high strength Aspen, poppy Bamboo & lightweight Paulownia, it provides the perfect balance of strength, power & light weight. To this Ride then add their Carbon Slimrod 2.0 technology. Running from the inserts out to the tip & tail, Slimrods carbon & Urethane construction add pop (without the stiffness generally associated with snappy boards), while also adding an extra level of dampening alongside the Double Impact Plates. Now to deliver that perfect balance of performance & freestyle feel the Helix’s structural layers are formed from Ride’s advanced Hybrid Glass. This combination of triaxial on top, biaxial on the base delivers the optimum balance of torsion & stiffness for the ultimate in response & control. The structural layers are then further reinforced with the addition of the Carbon Array 3 reinforcing. This places three carbon strips running from the contact points through the binding zones at both the tip & tail. This powers up the contact points for a faster & more responsive tip & tail engagement without compromising torsional twist through the centre of the board. Base High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder & faster than extruded. ...

THe FRee STYLe BOARD THAT CHARGe S LIKe A FRee RIDe BOARDDesigned to deliver the ultimate in feel, control & durability, the Kink is the jib machine of the Ride collection. As the board of choice for Jed Anderson & most of the Ride team when hitting up the street, the Kink’s credentials are beyond reproach. Built around a fully balanced blunt tipped twin shape, the Kink cuts swing weight to an absolute minimum. This gives the rider full control of the board, ensuring that even during the most technical riding, you’ll never feel like the board is taking over. Match this with the lively Hybrid Camber that features rockered zones at the tips to lift the contact points clear of the snow & poppy camber through the middle, & you have a board that delivers the optimum balance of performance & feel, ensuring that when you want to take the kink out onto the mountain, it’s not going to feel like its out of its element. Rider Style: Park & all-terrain. Park & snowdome riders who are looking for a board that will kill it on rails, boxes & urban terrain but which will still be great fun to ride as your everyday board. Shape Overview: Twin Tip The Kink’s twin tip shape features a reduced swing weight blunt tip & tail design. This fully balanced form reduces weight at the extremities of the board, stepping up rider control & feel. The advanced Quadratic sidecut blends three different radii to improve turn initiation/exit while providing the best grip possible. This design is uniquely formulated for the Kink to deliver the ultimate balance of freestyle & all-terrain performance. Profile: Hybrid Camber The Kink’s Hybrid Camber profile combines rocker zones at the contact points in the nose & tail with camber under the feet. The rocker at the contact points delivers a more reassuring hook-free feel when playing in the park as well as creating lift & float in deeper snow. To give the board a more dynamic & responsive ride, the camber under the feet powers up the sidecut, ensuring that when you need edge hold & stability, the Kink won’t let you down. Construction Internally the Kink has been optimised to deliver the perfect balance of all-terrain performance with freestyle friendly feel. Heading this up is the Performance Core. Constructed from a combination of high strength Aspen, poppy Bamboo & lightweight Paulownia, it provides the perfect balance of strength, power & weight.
