No matter if you’re charging groomers or doing backcountry heli drops, this is one board that is never going to feel out of its depth. Built around a fully directional freeride shape & utilising some of Ride’s most advanced design & construction, this unique & powerful snowboard is a must have for anyone that loves that special feeling that you only get from riding fast. Rider Style Advanced to expert freeriders who are looking for a high-performance board for charging around the whole mountain. Shape Overview The Bezerkers advanced directional shape has been designed to deliver the optimum performance no matter if you’re charging the piste or dropping backcountry powder lines. The tapered shape gives the board a little bit more volume in the nose & a slightly narrower tail. This combination provides a little bit more float & effortless performance, no matter how deep it gets. That taper also gives the Bezerker a little bit more of a predictable feel on edge, which when you combine that with the advanced Tapered Quadratic Sidecut, delivers genuinely mind-bending levels of grip & control on the piste. Profile The Bezerkers Directional Hybrid Camber profile places an extended rocker at the front of the board. This works in harmony with the longer wider nose to give exceptional lift, so, no matter how deep the snow gets, the Bezerker is just going to keep floating. Once you’ve pulled back from the nose, the board then reverts to a traditional camber profile back to the rear contact point. This gives a responsive, poppy & dynamic feel through the turn. Also, by forgoing rocker at the rear contact point, the Bezerker lets you sit on the tail of the board out the back of the turn allowing you to take full advantage of all the available power from the Carbon Array 3 technology. Construction Internally the Bezerker is a tour de force of Ride’s high-end construction & heading this up is the powerful Performance core. Constructed from a combination of high strength Aspen, poppy Bamboo & lightweight Paulownia, it provides the perfect balance of strength, power & weight. Sitting on top of this are the Double Impact plates. These cushion the bindings from hard landings as well as adding an extra layer of defence against core compression. Now to deliver that perfect freeride performance, the Bezerkers structural layers are formed using an advanced Hybrid Glassfibre. This combination of triaxial on top, biaxial on the base gives the optimum balance of torsion & stiffness for the ultimate in response & control. These structural layers are then further reinforced with the addition of the Carbon Array 3 reinforcing. This places three carbon strips running from the contact points through the binding zones at both the tip & tail. This powers up the contact points for a faster & more responsive tip & tail engagement without compromising torsional twist through the centre of the board. In addition to the Carbon Array, the Bezerker features additional Carbon rods from the back bindings again running out to the contact points at the tail, adding yet another dimension to the powerful performance. Base High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder & faster than extruded.
