The POC Calyx is the perfect helmet for ski touring but also truly versatile as it’s certified for cycling & mountaineering too. The outer uses ABS hard shell construction for strength & durability with a dual-density EPS liner for extra protection in areas where impacts are most common. MIPS Evolve is lighter with a more refined fit to the standard version, offering protection from rotational impacts & falls. A 360° fit system provides plenty of adjustment at the twist of a dial & can be pushed inside reducing the space taken when the helmet is packed. Deep ventilation panels allow plenty of airflow & vent openings on top can be opened/closed via a sliding button. Fabric coverings on the front & rear channels let air enter while taking away windchill. The flexible ear pads can be folded inwards or removed altogether, there is a goggle clip on the back which can also be removed, & a colour-matching fleece-lined neck warmer is included.
