An FIS certified ski helmet, the Skull Dura X MIPS is packed full of technology to keep you protected on race days. The outer shell uses a blend of ABS & Polycarbonate to balance durability & stiffness, while the internal foam liner is made from EPP which can withstand multiple impacts, depending on the severity. MIPS has been integrated for increased protection from rotational impacts, & the Race Lock system provides size adjustment for a snug & secure fit by twisting the dial at the rear. Ear chambers enable crisper hearing & the ear pads can be pulled to release in the event of an accident, & the helmet is compatible with POC’s Maxilla Breakaway Chin Guard, sold separately. The helmet is finished with a fixed goggle clip & a Fidlock chin buckle which can be operated easily even with gloves on.
