WHAT WE SAY: When you have big feet you just have to get used to that super tanker slow edge to edge speed. Well stand up & sing Alleluia because those days are over. With the new Phenom, Artec have created a wide board that is big enough for riders with the biggest feet but which reacts & turns like a traditional snowboard. To achieve this they have used the advanced Omega sidecut which straightens up the sidecut at the nose & tail allowing the designers to give a more traditional nose & tail width thereby eliminating that slow edge to edge. The Phenom shares the rest of its design & construction with the acclaimed Novus. This shared DNA creates a board that combines a smooth easy going flex with the pop & response that will satisfy riders from beginner through to good intermediate.

WHAT ARTEC SAY: The Phenom is Ultra-wide freestyle performance. For the shredders with truly large feet, this is the widest board in the world. But instead of designing some clunky low performance mega wide board, the Phenom is built to deliver precision control. To achieve this we combine a super wide waist with our exclusive omega sidecut technology, reducing the tip & tail widths, & allowing us to make a board that completely supports plus sized shredders while still being manoeuvrable & quick edge to edge. Featuring a twin tip shape, our Iso Tec Wood Core, Mono Tec sidewalls & Theta Tec base, the Phenom is for the big kids who still want to play in the park, & get loose on the slopes.
