MSR's Access 2 is a freestanding two-person backpacking tent suitable for year-round use. Featuring an Xtreme Shield flysheet, robust Easton Syclone poles, & central frame support, it fends off wind, rain, & snow. The inner tent has limited mesh panels to reduce heat loss while maintaining airflow. The tent has a symmetrical design with doors & storage vestibules on both sides. This lets you adapt access & gear storage in changing weather conditions. A central support frame resists snow loading while optimising the internal space for camping comfort. Internal pockets aid kit organisation. The bathtub floor increases ground protection. The Access 2 pitches inner tent first, with a unified hub & pole system to speed up the process. High-visibility guylines increase stability in windy conditions. Supplied with eight MSR Groundhog stakes, their Y-beam construction grips well in varied ground types.
