This utilises a combination of micro camber under the feet & early rise rocker in the nose to create a true all-mountain ripper that combines class-leading performance with a surf-inspired feel. From charging groomers to hitting side hits to searching out waist deep powder stashes, this stunning snowboard is the perfect choice for creative freeriders who see the mountain as one big playground. Hailing out of the Never Summer factory in Denver, the Chris Roach Master Series is packed to the gunnels with high tech construction, ensuring that no matter how or where you ride, this unique snowboard is always going to perform at the highest level. Rider Style Creative freeriders who are looking for a surf inspired all-terrain charger. Shape Overview The Chris Roach is built around a classic long nose directional chassis. That combination of length & early rise in the nose ensure that no matter how deep it gets, this board is always going to be effortless to ride. In contrast, the short blunt tail is designed to sink, once again enhancing that float. But, more importantly, giving you a solid & dynamic platform to drive the board through the turn. That turning performance is then further enhanced with the addition of the Vario Grip sidecut. This complex design utilises multiple radiuses creating extra contact points to enhance edge hold. Profile The Chris Roach utilises a combination of Micro camber with early rise in the nose. This combination shifts the rider’s energy out to the contact points & along the edges as the camber is compressed. This gives the board a more poppy feel through the length adding power to takeoffs, increased stability on landings & enhanced edge hold on the piste. The early rise gives enhanced float in the pow while freeing up the contact points for a more playful feel. Construction Key to the Roach’s stunning performance is its quality construction. Originating out of the highly acclaimed Never Summer factory, it’s spec list is a tour de force of high-end manufacturing. Heading up the quality construction is the Ultralight wood core. This lightweight core combines a custom blend of wood species to deliver the optimum balance of strength & performance. To this Acadamy then add structural layers formed from Never Summer’s exclusive Bi-Lite glass to give the perfect balance of strength & flex. These are then reinforced with Carbon V-Tech laminates which extend carbon fibre V's out from the inserts to the effective edge, stiffening the board torsionally & providing increased boost & pop when loaded up.
