The Blend is a reference all mountain twin, as happy sliding rails as it is buttering & pressing or searching for powder stashes. early rise tip & tail improves handling on any terrain; the 100mm waist & 20.5m radius provide stability in every condition. It’s built tough too, with a Maple Macro core & both fat edges & bases. The result is a smooth, durable performance in an oversized footprint for embracing creativity. Terrain Type & Ability Level Terrain Type The Blend was one one of the first, & still one of the best, all condition freestyle skis. As happy spending the day in the park as it is lapping powder or messing about on natural terrain. The tips & tails make it comfortable for butters & presses, whilst the centre section is plenty firm enough when it’s time to put the hammer down. Skier Type Skiers who want to use the whole mountain from park to pow, with plenty time everywhere else whether it’s trees, groomers or side hits. It’ll press & butter, has the width for soft snow & still has the firmness so you can push it. It’s a true all rounder so will suit anyone looking for a freestyle quiver of one. Overview Shape 100mm underfoot & with a 20m (178cm) radius is ideal for a mix of park & all mountain, offering stability & float. A 5 Cut Multi Radius Sidecut blends 5 different radii so that the ski is comfortable in a variety of turns & keeps an intuitive feel. early Taper moves the widest point of the sidecut so it begins tapering earlier in the tip & tail to reduce hook ups in soft snow. Rockerearly Rise at the tip & tail lift them away from the snow to bring the contact points closer to the centre of the ski. This increases the ski's lift in deep snow & allows it to engage more quickly on hardpack when rolled over on edge. Core Maple Macroblock uses two full-length maple stringers surrounded by aspen for increased strength & durability. A Carbon Ollieband uses pre-stretched carbon down the centre of the ski for added pop & play. Construction Combining the precision of sidewall underfoot, & the lightweight, durable performance of cap construction in the tip & tail, Capwall Construction provides the best of both worlds. Key Features Fatty Base & edge 30% thicker base & edge, 2.2mm wide x 2.5mm high steel edges & 1.7mm thick base dramatically increase durability & tuning life of the skis. Symmetric Flex The same flex pattern in front & behind your boot conforms to terrain equally riding forward & backwards. Thin Tip Super thin core & sidewalls in the tip & tail are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight & tip bounce.e B tester’s comments: Luke (Buying Team) A few spring slushy laps on these had me smiling. A typical Line ski, these felt playful, poppy & would suit someone who likes to treat the whole mountain as a fun park.
