Rider Style: Freerstyle/ Freeride The Double Dip is aimed at intermediate to advanced riders who want a versatile board that delivers the powder & piste performance of a freeride board but who still want the playful & versatile ride of a twin. Shape Overview: Directional Twin The Lib-Tech Double Dip's innovative shape has been designed to deliver the ultimate in all-terrain performance. Utilising a unique directional outline, it features a low entry angle nose profile & tail profile. This gives the board increased & effortless float riding both forwards & switch, ensuring that when you want to get off-piste, it's going to perform like a pure powder board. That float is also stepped up a notch with the extra width, by increasing the overall volume you get an almost unsinkable board. That extra width also means that when you get this board on the piste, not only is it going to be ultra stable, toe & heel drag is none existent. To further enhance that carving performance, the Double Dip utilises Lib-Techs state of the art Magne Traction sidecut. This innovative sidecut features seven strategically located edge serrations along the length. These add extra traction points to the edges ensuring that you get unrivalled edge hold & control. Profile: C2x Hybrid Rocker/ Camber As the Double Dip is all about versatility, Lib-Tech fit it with their C2 hybrid Rocker/ Camber profile. This places a shortened rocker between your feet with powerful extended cambers to the tips & tails. This delivers the perfect balance of power, pop & precision while enhancing float in deep pow. Also, those aggressive cambers work in perfect harmony with the Magna Traction sidecut to give a stable & confidence-inspiring feeling through the turn. Construction Internally the Double Dip utilises Lib-Techs OP + construction. This is headed up by the OP wood core which combines poplar & lightweight paulownia with birch stringers parallel to the sidecut. This delivers the perfect balance of pop & power with a more freestyle friendly overall feel. To this Lib Tech then add structural layers formed from a combination of tri-ax & bi-ax glass. This allows the board's designers to dial in the perfect freestyle flex through the length with a more responsive torsional flex for when you need increased control & response. Base: Sintered To ensure that the Double Dip delivers excellent performance in all conditions Lib-Tech fit it with their high quality sintered base.
