Shape Overview The advanced blunt profile directional twin shape delivers the perfect balance of freestyle control & all-terrain versatility. However, that nose profile still features the innovative extended contact points of the original mountain twin, so you don’t lose any of that class-leading float in deep snow that made the original board so famous. Now to give the Mountain Twin extra grip when blasting the piste, it utilises Jones’s Traction Tech 3.0 Sidecut. This innovative technology adds additional traction points into the sidecut allowing the board to rip through even the most bulletproof of conditions. Profile Cam Rock is the most versatile profile in the Jones range & is perfect for riders that want a board that can handle every style of riding. This delivers three distinct benefits to the rider, the first of these is that it creates a smoother transition from edge to edge helping give the Mountain Twin its luxury ride. Secondly it lifts those contact points clear of the snow creating a smooth, buttery freestyle feel, & finally, it helps channel snow flow down under the board creating additional lift in the pow. Construction Not only does the Mountain Twin feature an advanced shape but it also utilises state of the art construction. Heading this up is the lightweight Control Core. Featuring a 2:1 paulownia/poplar stringer ratio, it gives the perfect balance of weight, durability & pop, creating the perfect foundation to the board. To this, Jones then add structural layer formed from high-quality bi-ax glass.
