The Carbon Solution is aimed at splitboarders who are after the ultimate in both performance & weight saving. Sharing the same directional shape & directional rocker profile as the standard Solution the Carbon version still gives that class leading ride & touring performance as the standard board. Again like the regular Solution the Carbon utilises the Mellow Magne Traction on both the outer & inner edges, so you still get that reassuring ride on the edge plus that confidence-inspiring feel when touring. Also like the standard board it also features the new Bolt-Less Bridge technology which eliminates the need for split-clip attachment hardware on the base. But get past the surface & it's what's inside this board that really turns things on its head. Heading this up is the all new Ultra-Iso core; this state of the art core is constructed from a combination of foam/fibreglass composite with beech reinforcing down the edges. This super strong construction is around 15% lighter than a traditional wood core all without compromising any strength or durability. To this Jones then create the boards structural layers from the super advanced Textreme Carbon. Manufactured by Swedish company Oxeon AB, this unique material is manufactured by laying up the fibres in a Spread Tow format. This creates a carbon sheet that is stronger than traditional carbon but more importantly up to 30% lighter. Add to this the sintered Ultra Base which is one of the fastest base materials available & you can see why this board delivers such truly mind bending performance.
