The Hovercraft has very quickly established itself as the go-to board for riders who are looking for a board specifically for those deep powder days. Its fully directional shape with extra long nose & tapered, reduced length tail gives a truly outstanding ride in the deepest snow. The way the Hovercraft rides powder would be enough to make it an exceptional board but it carries one more ace up its sleeve that transforms it into something rather special.

What Jones has managed to do is sneak into the Hovercraft a whole dose of race board DNA. This gives the board a powerful slalom inspired flex which delivers a truly mind blowing ride on piste. It's this combination of class leading powder performance with one of the most enjoyable rides on hardpack that sets the Hovercraft apart from other powder focused boards.

Design wise the Hovercraft uses the Jones Blunt Nose directional Rocker profile. This features longer contact points at the nose with more rocker in the front to give increased float whilst the camber between the feet & Mellow Magne-Traction give the board a rock solid feel on the edge. Internally the Hovercraft uses a poplar wood core for the perfect balance of power & versatility whilst the structural layers are formed from dual directional bi-ax glass. This gives the board a solid & powerful feel whilst tweaking back the flex a little for a more enjoyable ride.
