This latest version of the Rally with a new shape & construction has really given it a distinct place in the always impressive Supershape line-up. As the Titan got wider the Rally now slips into the role of the piste ski that is also capable of smashing it when the conditions get rough. A bigger waist, slightly longer radius & enhanced dampening mean it is still a carving machine on piste but is even more stable if the snow isn't perfect. Terrain Type & Ability Level Terrain Type The updated version of the Rally is more suited to skiing all terrain, as it is has extra stability compared to previous models. This makes it absolutely ideal for skiers who don't want to lose any piste performance whilst still being able to spend time around the sides & in the trees, maybe even chasing fresh snow. Plus, it's not often that the pistes are perfectly groomed. Skier Type Good skiers with decent technique who enjoy the thrill of a performance ski but don't want the hassle of a race ski. It will happily cruise all day or you can push it & try to keep up with the racers. Overview Shape Amongst the changes the Rally is now a bit wider in the waist & has a slightly longer radius. This has noticeably enhanced stability without affecting how well it skis on trails & firm snow. The contact points are set right in the tip & tail so the effective edge is long, helping with the grip & the feel of immediate response when turning. Rockere RA 3.0 S on the Supershapes uses a speed rocker which, put simply, means the ski has tip rocker & some clever tip design. There is plenty of camber along the skis length for rebound & energy. A targeted rocker at the tip with low rise, progressive radius & vibration absorbing fibres results in superior steering & less angulation is required for immediate response & a smoother ride. Core Vertically laminated wood with Graphene & twin Titanal layers. This mix of lightweight but strong materials produces a ski with the most extreme agility & thrilling responsiveness for ultimate performance. Graphene being so light means that thicker & wider Titanal sheets can be used, covering the entirety of the ski to ensure a more reactive & powerful ride. Construction Head's Worldcup Sandwich Cap Construction is developed with the most sophistacted materials known to man & uses tried & test techniques. The sidewall delivers energy to ski edge precisely for the best grip; the mini cap on top adds durability. Key Featurese M Cenergy Management Circuit, the world's only electronic ski dampening system. When the ski bends & vibrates, it takes the kinetic energy in the ski & transfers it into electrical energy, which is then used to absorb negative vibrations for a more stable experience. Smooth skiing & exceptional edge grip, whatever the conditions. Graphene Graphene is the thinnest & lightest element ever discovered by mankind. It is also the strongest material on the planet, stronger than diamond & 300 times stronger than steel, all in the thickness of one atom. By using it in the construction Head can reduce weight & increase strength of the ski.e RA 3.0e RA 3.0 is a combination of technologies, shape & geometry using a targeted rocker at the tip with low rise, a progressive radius & vibration absorbing fibres. The rocker improves steering & enhances soft snow versatility. The progressive radius at the tip means that even though there is rocker, less angulation is required to get full edge contact, resulting in better grip. Intellifibers in the tip dampen vibrations for a smoother ride.e B tester’s comments: Mark (Trainer) They react precisely to skier input & run like they are on rails.
