The Giro Avera Mips is one of the most popular & comfortable women’s helmets available. It’s lightweight & has a fit system providing up to 6cm of adjustment. They have added Mips for increased protection from angled impacts & falls, adjustable vents for temperature control, & warm fleece-lined earpads. Construction In-mould construction uses a Polycarbonate outer shell fused to an EPS foam liner. This creates a helmet that is lightweight & will absorb energy during impact in the event of an accident. Ventilation Thermostat Control venting allows airflow through the helmet to be adjusted by sliding a button on the top, while Stack Ventilation draws hot air away from the top of goggles helping to keep your vision clear. Fit Giro’s In Form 2 fit system means that you can fine-tune the size by twisting the dial at the back (provides up to 6cm of adjustment).
