Dual Titanal layers & a lightweight, energetic woodcore blend power with lightweight responsiveness so that you can trust your skis, whether you’re kick-turning the top of that narrow couloir or arcing high speed turns through the crud below. The paulownia/poplar core makes a good blend, paulownia is light & stable, poplar adds flex & extra pop. An elliptical sidecut brings a long radius underfoot with shorter radius at the tips & tails to ensure skiers are never completely locked into a turn, so they can scrub speed or switch direction on a dime, essential when skiing variable terrain. Traditional flat tail design is built for speed, ultimate edge grip & control throughout charging turns. Brought into the modern day with a slight tail rocker, this shape is easier than ever to slash your turn into a slarve & won’t hook up in fresh conditions. Surf Zones unite the rocker with taper that moves the widest part closer to the centre to remove unwanted hooking in the turn. Full Strength Sidewalls increase protection for the core & improve edge hold on firmer snow; 2.5m edges add plenty of resistance from rock damage. A Tip & Tail Cap uses sidewalls underfoot for grip & control & wraps the tip/tails with the topsheet to protect them from impacts & to reduce weight.
