The CT 3.0 is based on Candide’s 5.0, the ski he uses in his edits,  just this version has more practical dimensions. The same CT Signature Flex, Stance and Shape are present, meaning maximum versatility and playfulness. Similarly,  the paulownia and poplar core keeps the weight down but ensures the ski has plenty of pop. It's no-holds-barred skiing with the new CT 3.0 anything is possible: stomp cliffs,  huck windlips, ski powder or just cruise the mountain having fun. Terrain Type & Ability LevelTerrain Type It’s focused on softer snow but it is capable anywhere if you have a freestyle mindset. manoeuvrability. The elliptic Radius Sidecut nicely balances the need to carve turns by using a shorter radius in the tip and tail, with a longer radius creating a straighter section underfoot for the stability required in rougher snow. RockerTip and Tail Rocker uses a low camber underfoot. The rocker at the tip and tail improves manoeuvrability by aiding turn initiation and completion. The low camber ensures pivoting is easy but that there is response and grip too. CoreThe wood core use a mix of lightweight but stable paulownia and poplar that adds energy and pop, resulting in a light but durable and playful ski. A Titanal / Rubber Stomp Pad is placed underfoot for additional strength, as well as protecting the wood core against heavy duty impact on rails, the Titanal and
rubber adds stability and vibration.ConstructionFull Strength Sidewalls place strips of protective material along the sides of each core, between the edge and the topsheet. This provides the best possible edge hold and stability when the ski is engaged in a turn,  as well as protecting the woodcore, edges and topsheet from impact and outside damage. On top of this is an Anti-Chip Micro-Cap, a hybrid of a full strength, sandwich sidewall construction fused with a lightweight, durable cap construction. With Micro-Cap, the sandwich construction provides awesome edge hold and torsional stability,  while the ski’s topsheet wraps around and meets the sidewall protecting the fragile join that can be prone to chipping.Key FeaturesCT Signature Shape, Flex and StanceDesigned by

Additionally, the stiff tips absorb more vibration when
skiers touch down after going airborne. Just add a touch more flex under foot and it allows the skis to load up and POP on request.
