It's 10 years since Bataleon launched the Evil Twin & in that time it's become the benchmark for intermediate to pro level freestyle
...The Evil Twin Asym is new for this season & is an evolution of the standard Evil Twin. Although it shares much of the originals
...Although designed for tackling less demanding terrain than MSR's Ascent series, the Evo snowshoes don't compromise on quality
...The Evil Twin is the board that put Bataleon on the map. Its class leading freestyle performance combined with the ability to ride the whole mountain like an all terrain board marked it out as one of the must haves for the discerning freestyle rider.
The Evil Twin is the board that put Bataleon on the map. Its class leading freestyle performance combined with the ability to ride the whole mountain like an all terrain board marked it out as one of the must haves for the discerning freestyle rider.
Over the years Bataleon haven’t sat on their laurels with the Evil Twin, they have developed & refined it to help keep it at the top of its game & this year’s board is no exception. Now the board of choice for Ethan Morgan, Bataleon & Ethan have tweaked the new model to return it a little bit more to its freestyle roots all without compromising its all terrain ability. They have done this by tweaking back the flex a little giving the new model a little bit more of a playful feel. This makes presses & butters that little bit easier but by still keeping it relatively responsive keeps that drive & pop intact.
The Evil Twin uses the Twin TBT profile; this combines a mid-wide flat centre base section with midsized TBT on the side base to give the board a versatile yet stable ride on rails & boxes but with a looser feel when flat & a more engaged feel on the edge. Internally the Evil Twin uses the poplar Core, core which features hardwood stringers through binding centres for a dynamic yet predictable flex, tri-ax glass to deliver a torsionally responsive flex & a high grade sintered base for a faster glide.
