However, thanks to its innovative Radius 2 Flat tip & tail profile & slight setback, this isn’t a freestyle board that’s going to hold you back on those days when you just want to get out & ride. Profile To help give the Mega that all-terrain versatility, DC utilise their innovative Lock & Load Camber profile. This combines traditional camber through the mid-section with longer flat zones to the transition points. This clever combination creates a flat stable platform that gives the board its unique balance of skate like playfulness & responsive & dynamic ride. Internals Internally DC doesn’t hold back when it comes to state of the art construction. Heading this up is the responsive Stratus wood core. This lively core combines poplar with two stringers of beech running through the centre. This gives the Mega a poppy flex through the length. Now to ensure that the board keeps its playful freestyle feel, DC utilise a more park focussed bi-ax glass for the structural layers.
