The North is the most powerful board in the Whitegold range & is aimed at advanced big mountain freeriders who are looking for a hard charging high performance machine for destroying the most extreme terrain. Built around a fully directional shape with a full camber profile & Freeride TBT base, it delivers class leading performance both in the pow & when charging hard pack. Internally the full wood Light Core is constructed from a combination of poplar & paulownia with cork dampening inserts to give a feather light feel with all the pop you could ever need. To add more power through the length it has a bamboo rail running tip to tail, this increases the snap but also creates a waterproof sidewall for if you want to split the board at a later date. To give a more responsive feel in the turn, Whitegold place carbon bands alongside the bamboo sidewalls. These focus power & pop along the edges ensuring that the North has all the performance you could ever need. Finally to give a super fast glide in all conditions it uses a high end sintered base to give unrivalled wax retention ensuring that it matches the rest of the boards performance.
