This creates a truly stunning all-terrain board that provides a level of performance that is nothing short of remarkable. Key to the increase in performance is the all-new construction. Utilising the new 3D profiled Hover core with two 30mm Amplitex Amplifier Strips running tip to tail; bulletproof Fortress Kevlar bound sidewalls & a change from bi-ax glass structural layers to tri-ax, this powerful combination of high-end materials steps up the power, response & control & helps deliver what is, without doubt, one of the best all-terrain boards on the market. Shape Overview The D.O.A is built around a versatile twin chassis with a blunt diamond tip & tail profile. This innovative shape combines the balance & feel of a park orientated freestyle with the ride anything versatility of an all mountain charger. Profile As the Super DOA is all about delivering great performance across a wide variety of disciplines it utilises the versatile Re SORT V1 Profile. This takes full advantage of all the benefits of traditional camber, zero camber & reverse camber. By combining these three separate profiles, you get the pop & response of a cambered board with all the predictability & easy turn initiation of zero camber & the lift & float of reverse camber shapes. This ensures that no matter what or where you ride, the D.O.A is always going to perform. Construction When it comes to construction, that’s where you’ll see the difference between the D.O.A & the Super DOA. Heading up the changes is the new FSC Certified 3D Hover Core. Created specifically for the Super DOA it combines low-density paulownia with poplar to create a lightweight yet lively core. This is then CNC machined with a 3D profile to channel the rider's energy directly to where you want it when you need it. To step up that power transfer another notch & add more drive through the length, Capita then adds their Amplitex Amplifiers either side of the insert packs running the length of the board between the contact points. This additional layer combines both carbon fibre & flax fibres adding pop through the length as well as dampening out unwanted vibrations. Performance wise the most significant difference between the Super DOA & the standard board is the addition of tri-ax glass structural layers. These step up the torsional flex & give the new board its dynamic & responsive ride. Finally, to provide the Super DOA with bombproof durability, it features the Fortress™ Kevlar Bound Sidewalls. These are bonded by a Kevlar “S” wrap from the top of the sidewall to the underside of the core & help resist sidewall damage in the park. Base The exclusive HYPe RDRIVe base has exceptional anti-friction properties due to its high molecular mass & advanced formula. This sintered material has a Custom Carbon component & is one of the hardest & fastest base materials available.
