DPS' newest construction is applyied to their 100 RP shape, creating a lightweight, super playful backcountry ski. It's not going to tire you out accessing the stashes where the unique rocker profile & 100mm waist are going to shine. Float is guaranteed, as is effortless handling whatever the conditions or terrain. The core uses 2 different woods to ensure strength without excess weight & is enhanced with a high-tech carbon laminate that has great dampening qualities as well as adding precision & energy to the ski. The rocker profile & radius mean that even when the snow isn't great it's still simple to ski & handles well even in tighter spots. The shape means it will carve out turns way more comfortably than most BC models. Skier Type Backcountry skiers who want a wider ski that's as easy turning as models much narrower. The construction ensures it's light & responsive with floaty, intuitive handling, but this is much more a playful ski than a charger. Overview Shape The RP shape is both surfy & intuitive. 100mm underfoot provides enough platform for all conditions without being too wide; the tapered tip & tail initiate turns effortlessly & allows them to be exited with clean carves or easily washed out. Rocker Rocker at the tip & tail equates to 45% rocker. Sounds like a lot but it works perfectly with the shaping. The camber underfoot makes the most of the carbon construction & playful 15m radius. Core Fabricated with 2 different woods, ash for power & strength, & paulownia for lightweight, & combined with a purpose-built aerospace grade foam. These materials are enhanced with DPS' proprietary new carbon laminate to create a core that is lightweight & powerful, damp & energetic. Construction The DPS R&D team have engineered a construction with a horizontally combined core, innovative new sidewall technology & carbon layers to produce a supremely damp & stable platform.
