This combination delivers a more efficient transfer of power edge to edge whilst still allowing flexibility side to side. This innovative design also improves board flex by reducing the contact patch of the binding on the board. In addition, Rome uses a D30 pad under the baseplate for the highest level of impact absorption available. Compared to standard e VA, D30 absorbs 30% more impact.
