...THe HIGH-Pe RFORMANCe ALL-Te RRAIN CHARGe R WITH THe He ART OF A PUSSYCATThe 2021 Bataleon Push Up is aimed at riders who are looking for a versatile all-terrain snowboard that blends top-end performance with relatively easy-going nature. equally happy cruising the piste as it is riding powder as it is lapping the park, it’s the perfect choice for any rider that just wants a board that can do absolutely anything they ask of it. Built around an all-terrain friendly directional twin chassis & utilising Bataleons ride anything Freestyle 3BT, the Push Ups combination of state of the art design & high-end construction deliver a truly stunning ride for riders of all ability levels. Rider Style: All Terrain Riders The Push Up is aimed at riders of all ability levels who are looking for a high performing board that can take on every type of terrain & every kind of riding. Shape Overview: Directional Twin The Push Up utilises an all-new state of the art, blunt tip & tail directional twin chassis. This versatile shape delivers a balanced overall feel, so when you’re hitting the park, it gives you all the control that you could ever need. However, by slightly increasing the volume in the nose, Bataleon creates a shape that offers excellent float in the pow & a stable & solid ride on the piste. Profile: Freestyle Triple Base As with the rest of the Bataleon range, it’s the unique Freestyle 3BT shape with sidekicks technology that sets the Push Up apart from its competitors. This advanced 3D base profile combined with overall traditional camber delivers truly stunning performance in all types of terrain. The Freestyle 3BT profile divides the base at the front & back of the board into three equally proportionate sections. The two side-base sections are then angled upwards with a medium height uplift to create the 3BT trademark profile. Combine this with the traditional camber, & you have a board that not only turns easier & with more stability, but you also get a board that floats better in pow as well as being more playful & forgiving. Side Kicks Side Kick increases the side base uplift just outside the widest part of the nose & tail, making turn initiation smoother, increasing float in powder & improving the handling of the board in rough terrain. Construction Key to the Push Up’s stunning performance is its advanced construction. Heading this up is the state of the art Light Core. Combining an even mix of poplar & paulownia, It delivers the perfect balance of lightweight, durability & playful performance. To this, Bataleon then adds their state of the art D.S.T (Dual Super Tube) Technology. This places two hollow carbon rods into milled out channels on the base of the core, stepping up pop through the length as well as powering up the camber for more snap & drive. Now to give the Push Up its trademark rider-friendly feel, the structural layers are formed from bi-ax glass. These create a torsionally softer flex which delivers that more progressive & compliant ride. However, the addition of carbon stringers between the bindings adds extra pop through the length without compromising that progressive feel. Base: Super Slick X (High Molecular extruded) This high-quality extruded base has the highest molecular weight of any extruded base on the market. That means it’s tougher & faster while remaining virtually maintenance-free. Float Surface: 146 = 57 149 = 59 152 = 61 New for this season on all Bataleon Boards is the Float-Surface rating. This measurement is calculated via a complex equation that takes into account surface area, nose & tail profile & set back. This then gives you a rating on how the board lifts & floats in powder, giving you a real comparison between the new generation of short wide board against a traditional snowboard. Float surface starts at 50 for the lowest-rated board & goes up to 96 for the highest-rated board
