Product Description

Where do you start with the Axis? Simple, THIS IS THE BEST value for your money SNOWBOARD ON THE MARKET, PERIOD. I know it's a mighty claim but when you look at what the Axis offers & then you look at its price, it's hard to say anything else really. Aimed squarely at riders who are looking for a versatile board that will deliver great performance over the whole mountain, the Axis is the definition of the perfect quiver in one snowboard.

Its level of performance is perfect for intermediate riders that are looking to step up their riding or more advanced riders who are looking for a more easy going board. Built around an all new shape, the Axis uses a responsive & lively traditional camber profile. This gives the board a more dynamic feeling increasing pop through the length & giving a sure footed ride on the edge. This edge performance is then further enhanced with the Ultimate Traction sidecut. This places disrupted bumps down the edge profile increasing the number of contact points which improves bite through the turn. Internally, the Axis doesn't hold back.

The full length wood core is constructed from a combination of beech & poplar with ash blocks in the nose & tail; this gives the board a smoother flex through the middle with increased pop at either end. This pop is then further enhanced with bi-ax glass structural layers which feature carbon fibre cross bracing at either end of the board giving the Axis a really powerful ride without compromising the board's easier going nature. Finally the 6000 grade base delivers a superfast glide with enhanced wax absorption.
