Although the Aviator was only launched last season Jones have given it a makeover for 14/15 & have created one of the most exciting boards of the year. Aimed squarely at good intermediate to expert riders it's the most freestyle focused model in the range. Designed to take that powerful & responsive ride that Jones is synonymous with & recreate it in something that can really put it down in the backcountry but which also has the performance to destroy even the biggest park booter. Built around a fully directional shape it utilises the advanced 3D Power Camber profile with mellow Magne Traction. This combines traditional camber with 3D bevels on the base at the contact points with additional edge bumps along the edges giving a more playful feel without compromising pop, response or edge hold. Internally the all new construction has created one of the lightest boards available. This is thanks to the new Tri-Ax Carbon structural layers that combine 45° carbon stringers throughout the whole length & the super light Power Core. Add to this the featherweight film top sheet & super fast 9900 base & you have one of the lightest & best performing boards on the market.
