The Vantage 75 C W doesn't lose out by being one of the softer more forgiving models in Atomic's Vantage range. They still use the energy Backbone for enhanced drive & power, Carbon Tank Mesh for increased edge hold & Prolite design which focuses on keeping the skis as lightweight as possible without compromising performance. They're easy to use & inspire confidence in all conditions, perfect for aspiring all mountain skiers. Terrain Type & Ability Level Terrain Type It is primarily piste, but the construction & the shape do mean that the ski is forgiving & smooth enough to tackle some more varied terrain off the sides of the piste. Blues & reds are its natural home, but it can still venture on to black runs, it just won't be gripping carved turns down these steeper or harder slopes. Skier Type Novice & intermediate skiers who want a piste ski that is about stability as much as it is performance or response. The Light Woodcore & the lack of metal in the construction ensure it is not demanding to ski, meaning it doesn't punish balance errors & is easy to get in & out of the turn. The Carbon Tank Mesh makes sure it isn't flappy either. It's a great first ski to really hone technique & feel totally comfortable on as you explore more of the mountain. Overview Shape 75mm in the waist is really in the piste

Dimensions category but, thanks to the Prolite construction & profile borrowed from the wider skis in the Vantage range, it is happy in softer snow too. The contact points are only set back a little in the tip & tail. This helps with forgiveness when the snow is softer or trickier without affecting the hard snow performance. Rocker All Mountain Rocker uses 10/90 split of tip rocker to camber. The relatively small amount of rocker helps with turn initiation & control in unpisted & soft conditions, without affecting the camber which provides the grip & response on firmer snow. Core Atomic's Light Woodcore uses poplar to optimise the skis weight without sacrificing any shock absorption or stability. Construction Cap Sidewall uses a full sidewall underfoot for controlled power transmission & great edge grip. The tips & tails use a cap construction to increase durability & make turn initiation & release simpler. Key Features Prolite Prolite is all about keeping the weight down without affecting the performance, achieved by using exactly the right amount of material in the right places & removing it where it isn't needed. This creates interesting profiles such as the milled-out areas through the centre of the ski that save weight but use tougher materials so strength isn't compromised & the built-up areas along the edges that transmit power so effectively. Carbon Tank Mesh A layer of super rigid, woven mesh increases strength across the ski without adding weight or too much torsional rigidity.energy Backbone An ultra-light insert that runs the length of the ski like a backbone, this provides exceptional agility without extra weight.e B tester’s comments: Cat (Castleford) Conditions were on the icy side & I was surprised how well the edge gripped considering they're such a forgiving ski to use. The Vantage 77 Ti W will appeal to sporty intermediates & advanced skiers. It uses a Light Wood Core with Prolite & has the construction & shape to ski fast & precisely especially on pistes, or to knock back the speed & enjoy easy cruising. This ability to be forgiving is ideal for a ski that is 77mm in the waist as it makes it smoother & simpler to control in rougher or softer conditions; perfect traits for exploring away from the piste. Terrain Type & Ability Level Terrain Type It is an all mountain ski but the kind that favours the pistes with occasional forays off the side. It has the build & credentials to ski any marked run on the mountain with control but it isn’t too stiff to make cruising blues or skiing fresh snow difficult. Skier Type Advanced skiers & confident, skilled intermediates. Technique doesn’t need to be perfect but the mindset wants to be sporty skiing on pistes with a desire to find challenges away from the groomed snow too. Overview Shape The Vantage 77 Ti W is an all mountain ski that is biased to pistes & firm snow & the shape reflects this. It has a 77mm waist that suits it perfectly. Not so wide that it loses the nimbleness you’d want on firm snow & carving on pistes, but with enough width to boost the stability for variable snow & add some float for softer conditions. The sidecut is relatively deep for great carving potential. Rocker The All Mountain Rocker uses a 10/90 split of tip rocker & camber. The 10% rocker at the front assists with control in softer & variable snow, allowing the the tip to rise slightly for better float & smoother initiation in these conditions. The camber provides the grip & the energy for all condition skiing, whether on piste or playing off the side. Core The poplar wood core optimises the skis weight without sacrificing any shock absorption or stability. Aimed at confident skiers who spend most of their time on or near the marked trails, the Vantage 79 Ti is a brilliant piste-based all mountain ski. It likes a bit of speed & our testers were pleasantly surprised just how well it performed. With a 79mm waist it’s not the widest but it handles well in crud & when dipping off the side of runs. The combination of Titanium Tank Mesh, Power Woodcore & Cap Sidewall provides a punchy yet stable ride for confidence in all conditions. Terrain Type & Ability Level Terrain Type It’s a piste biased all mountain ski that is surprisingly fun to ski on groomed snow, with plenty of energy to zip in & out of the turns thanks to the Light Woodcore & Prolite construction. The shape & the fact it isn’t over-stiff mean that it also handles soft & mixed snow very well, encouraging the skier to search out different terrain & challenge themselves away from the groomed runs. The fact that pistes are rarely perfect makes this a good choice for piste skiers who will spend the vast majority of their time on marked trails & value a ski that will give them maximum stability when it is less than perfect courdory. Skier Type Good intermediates & lighter advanced skiers are going to enjoy the 79 Ti the most. It has the energy & precision for skiing on piste, without being over stiff or demanding so that it remains forgiving when in softer snow & different terrain. Good technique is rewarded with grip & clean turns, but, because it isn’t too stiff, little errors aren’t punished & it is happy to slide in & out of turns as skills improve, making it a great ski to improve on. It’s not scared of a bit of speed either. Overview Shapeeverything about the shape works perfectly for a ski that is designed for pistes with the ability to go down the sides as well. The waist is 79mm, a good size for a ski that needs to perform on groomers & still have some width for softer snow & skiing away from the marked trails. A medium radius ensures the ski feels good in a variety of turns on piste & still strikes a good balance between easy turning off-piste & stability. The Vantage 86 Ti delivers perfectly on the Atomic mantra of ‘lighter, stronger, better’. It’s a powerful all mountain ski that’s equally at home laying down precise carves as it is smashing through crud & flowing through powder. Prolite is the key ethos, a built-up chassis that is strong & powerful along the edges & noticeably slimmer & lighter in central areas towards the tip & tail. Terrain Type & Ability Level Terrain Type The 86 Ti is an all mountain ski that uses the construction of a piste ski with the shape of an all terrain model. This means it can eat motorway miles of piste all day long, or charge through the off-piste from first lift to last. If it has a weaker point, it’s probably a bit stiff & not wide enough for skiers set on hunting fresh snow all the time. It’s much better suited to all the realists out there who know all mountain skiing is about versatility, & that’s what the 86 Ti is about, with its good grip for when the conditions are firmer & power for when it opens up, whether you are on piste or off. Skier Type Advanced & expert skiers will benefit most from the grip levels & power, though heavier or more aggressive intermediates will enjoy this if they are prepared to work the ski a bit. It isn’t a demanding ski to use, which is a big bonus when skiing off piste. But there’s no point buying it if you aren’t going to push it because when you let the speed creep, you start to realise how good it is. It will ride an edge through pretty much anything, feeling totally stable, encouraging you to hold the turn longer & work the ski more. Think skiers who need stability for charging on piste & the width & shape for skiing away from the trails. Overview Shape 86mm in the waist is about as wide you’d go using a piste construction & Atomic have got this mix of width & performance to work really well. Add in a longish radius & you have a ski that will feel stable & solid in any condition. Core The Power Woodcore is a mix of ash & poplar, producing a sporty, dynamic core that has plenty of stability & vibration dampening at speed. This is reinforced with Titantium Tank Mesh & further enhanced with the energy Backbone (see below). Construction Prolite keeps the weight down without affecting the performance by adopting clever build techniques. Full Sidewall ensures the best energy transmission & the strongest possible grip. Key Features Prolite Prolite is all about keeping the weight down without affecting the performance, achieved by using exactly the right amount of material in the right places & removing it where it isn’t needed. This creates interesting profiles such as the milled-out areas through the centre of the ski that save weight but use tougher materials so strength isn’t compromised & the built-up areas along the edges that transmit power so effectively. The contact points are only set back a little in the tip and tail, this helps with forgiveness when the snow is softer or trickier without affecting the hard snow performance.RockerAll Mountain Rocker uses 10/90 split of tip rocker to

Product Description
