Designed in North America & built in Austria, the Atomic Maverick 95 Ti is a wildly versatile all mountain ski. The OMatic Construction ensures a balance of stiffness & flex throughout the ski, whilst keeping the weight down & delivering the kind of effortless performance that all mountain skiers dream of. The HRZN Tech Tip boosts surface area without increasing weight, improving the stability & tracking whatever the conditions. Whether you’re going to be racking up miles of pistes or spending all day away from the groomers the Maverick 95 Ti will be perfect for the job. Terrain Type & Ability Level Terrain Type For a ski with a 95mm waist it is impressive on hard pack with good edge hold & clean, smooth carves thanks to the firm centre of the ski. The tips & tails have plenty of taper so it is easy in & out of the turn whatever the snow. It is the kind of the ski that will be happy spending a lot of time in any terrain whether it is a full day of pistes, hours of chasing fresh turns or challenging yourself in trees & bumps. Skier Type Advanced skiers with decent technique who like precsion, liveliness & good edge grip, without full-on power like some of the stiffest, heaviest skis Overview Shape The shape borrows heavily from Atomic’s freeride skis, using ideas such as the HRZN tip that increases surface area with a convex shape, & similar styles of taper at the tip & tail to improve handling away from hardpack. 95mm underfoot provides float & stability without hampering piste performance. Rocker All Mountain Rocker uses a 20/70/10 split of tip rocker, camber, tail rocker. The Flow Profile blends the perfect amount of rocker & camber for optimal effective edge contact during every turn. Utilising the latest HRZN Tech Tip, Flow Profile delivers the ideal combination of camber, shovel taper & tip rocker to create a ski that hooks up on hardpack as well as floats in fresh snow. Core The precision milled poplar wood core ensures performance without any excess weight. Construction With a versatile all mountain mindset, OMatic Construction creates a core that produces the ultimate balance of stiffness & flex throughout the length of the ski. Constructed with only essential materials; precision milled poplar wood, lightweight fibreglass & Titanal layers, OMatic delivers effortless performance, balance & stability from tip to tail. Dura Cap Sidewall uses sidewall from the base to the top sheet for controlled power transmission & great edge hold. The rounded shape adds durability as it picks up less dings & knocks. Key Features HRZN Tech Tip & Tail HRZN Tech blends an ABS sidewall construction with an across-the-ski (horizontal) rocker. This adds 10% more surface area in the tip & tail without increasing swing weight. The result is better tracking through chop & crud & less tip deflection – meaning greater stability, floatation & agility. Ti Powered A Titanal layer above & below the core creates supreme shock absorption, strong running stability & high torsional flex. The Backland 107 blurs the lines of freeride & backcountry, proving that you can have a lightweight ski that packs a punch. even though the waist reads 107mm underfoot it feels manoeuvrable & playful, especially compared to similar models. It’s stable & locks into a carve nicely on hard snow. In variable & deep stuff the smoothness & stability created by the HRZN Tech tip & tail ensures your smile is wide. Tester’s comments: Benj (Castleford) When skinning up I was surprised by their lightness even though they are 107mm. I was impressed with the handling on the way down in deep snow & on firm conditions too. ...

Product Description

This standard Backland has slightly less power than the Carbon version but all the ski & hike-ability. The same amazing 740 of movement exists thanks to the Free/ Lock 2.0 mechanism which, in combination with the frictionless pivots & the rocker sole, creates the smoothest walking stride. The fit is pretty special too, the Memory Fit plastic shell is heated & custom fitted to each skier's feet to maximise foot hold & comfort. Skiing performance is just as impressive, especially considering how light it is.
