The edollo is built for maximum nose-pressability & confidence in the park. 2.5 Impact edges are oversized & specially heat-treated to resist damage; the Comp Series Base is Armada’s fastest, boosting confidence on kickers when you know the ski is going to glide well. AR Noserocker uses traditional camber underfoot for grip & edge hold, with rocker at the nose for pressing & better turn initiation. Having camber into the tail improves the versatility of the ski & makes it one of the very best pure freestyle skis when outside of the park. AR75 Sidewall construction means full length sidewall for the best grip, whether in the park or skiing the rest of the mountain. The wide platform is ideal for stomping landing & locking onto rails, as wells as meaning it rides Terrain Type & Ability Level Terrain Type It’s an amazing park ski but, thanks to the shape & camber, it’s surprisingly good when skiing all mountain too. The flex is soft so it does have a speed limit in terms of grip on hard snow but that isn’t what this ski is about anyway Skier Type Skiers who want a soft playful flexing ski to press, butter & hit jumps & jibs. Definitely one for the park skiers, but that doesn’t mean you have to stay in the park, it’s more about the style & the way ski flexes & what you’ll do with it. The soft nose means easy presses & the balanced flex through the centre & tail means smooth butters. Overview Shape 98mm in the waist & the 20m radius (172cm) ensures good stability on rails & jumps, as well as making the ski ride well when out of the park. The tip & tail are quite short compared to many skis on the market, but this works well with the camber, nose rocker & soft flex. Rocker AR Nose Rocker uses a traditional sidecut paired with tip rocker & standard camber for easier turn initiation without compromising edge hold. The low tip rocker & plenty of camber is matched with a soft flex, especially on the tip, giving the ski a fairly unique position amongst park skis making it standout. Core Armada’s Poplar Ash Core uses lightweight poplar combined with higher density full-length ash stringers to create an impossibly lively ski that has all the power needed for boosting to new elevations. Construction The AR75 Sidewall uses semi-cap sidewall along the majority of the ski with a full cap at the tip & tails. This combination helps absorb high speed chatter & impacts from jibs. A Laminate Matrix lay-up uses a directional layering of fibreglass that dictates the flex pattern & torsional rigidity to create the ultimate in quick response, fogiveness & liveliness. A little more shape & set back than most park skis, which makes for a great all mountain ski.
