Engineered from Tilley Nylamtium, a strong water-&-mildew resistant form of nylon. The LTM5 is the Airflo version of our LT5 Hat. It has a semi-sloping front & back brim & a relatively high crown.

To find your hat size, use a tape measure & draw it right around your head. For the best-looking & most comfortable fit, please make sure that the bottom of the tape touches your eyebrows while resting straight around your head. If you already know your regular (not a Tilley) hat size, please ask for one size larger when you order your Tilley. For instance, if you're sure you're a 7 1/4, order a 7 3/8. The Tilley Hat fits more comfortably than other hats. Its designed to be worn low on your head & slightly loose. It should be held on by gravity, not by painful pressure on your forehead! For the proper fit, you should be able to easily insert two fingers, flat, between the middle of your forehead & the front of the Hat. The Hat should be loose enough that you can rotate it to the left & right, & lift it up & down, without friction on your forehead. When its windy, use the cord!
