In very basic terms, forged carbon uses particles, rather than weaves of fibres. This allows significantly more complex shapes to be manufactured, & eliminates some of the weaknesses of traditional carbon fibre. The Milan is a soft to mid-stiff, all mountain binding, designed for long days lapping the resort. It has a bag load of premium design features, all aimed at giving your feet, & by extension the rest of your body, the easiest possible ride. Dual Density EVA bushings reduce the vibrations & impacts through your feet, while the new ankle & toe strap designs are engineered to feel like they’re not even there. Probably not the best choice for hard charging, freeriding types (they are better off opting for the Trilogy) but if all day, all mountain riding, & cruising the mountain with your buddies is your thing, you can’t go far wrong with the Milan.
