The RTM 80 is a good recommendation for strong skiers who demand top reliability & performance on varied terrain. Ride The Mountain ski constructions are harmonized to different ability levels, skiers ranging from beginner to pros can all find their perfect counterpart. The RTM 80 model has a moderate full rocker, which makes it unbelievably agile on & off the slopes. The RTM nevertheless deliver extreme control, even at higher speed ranges. Thanks to the outstanding power transfer of the i PT Wideride binding, the extra width remains nimble & precise yet offer more flotation for transitional snow & the side country. Like the RTM 84, the RTM 80 reinforced 3D construction channels forces to the edges. The major difference between the 84 & 80 construction is in the sidewall compared to the cap. The cap construction on the RTM 80 makes this full rocker ski more forgiving & a bit softer in the general ride characteristics yet still delivers the necessary power reserves for athletic skiers pushing their limits. The Extended (XTD) Wood Core is used in XTD Progressive constructions. More forgiving than the Extended Sensorwood Core, it consists an solid central section that extends toward the tip & tail. Ski

It was excellent in chopped up crud & death cookies. Is this for me? A Great & very popular ski this one, will suit an advanced skier for sure but will also accommodate an upper intermediate skier looking to push things that bit further. It is a very useable ski in a variety of conditions & will, without question, put a smile on your face.

Thanks to Volkls Ultralight core & topsheet technologies, the Squad Prime is extremely light & nimble, which is ideal given that this board was made for spinning. High end features such as carbon inserts, advanced dampening technologies & wooden sidewalls give this board  great pop, while retaining consistency throughout the flex pattern of the board. Traditional camber profile will suit expert riders by offering unmatched pop, & fantastic hardpack edge hold.  A slightly higher rise in the nose than the tail will provide good float in powder, opening the Squad Prime up to the major leagues of backcountry booters.

Specification Construction: Pro Camber Profile, True Twin Sidecut, Ultra Light Wood Core, Ultra Light Topsheet with Partial Grip Lacquer,   Horror Shock Absorber, Wooden Sidewalls with TPU dampening,  POP 3.0 carbon weave, Sintered   Base   Length: 158cm Running length: 123.5cm Waist

Width:
25.6cm Sidecut radius: 7.93m (average) Setback: Centred Flex: 8   FEATURES Pro Camber – This is a traditional snowboard profile, with the camber section of the board running from the tip, all the way to the tail, with no rocker sections at all.   This effectively means that the whole board is constantly preloaded & ready to react to our every input. Camber boards can be a little more challenging to ride in difficult conditions, but unmatched edge hold (no matter what you hear) & real ‘pop’ from your ollies is the reward.   True Twin Tip Freestyle Sidecut – A fairly narrow sidecut radius & short effective edge. Identical sidecut & flex patterns at the nose & tail, give a predictable & controllable ride when riding switch or regular. A lively, yet forgiving ride is achieved. As with all Volkl snowboard sidecuts, multiple radii are blended together to produce an extremely controlled turn, allowing slight pressure changes to alter your turn radius, without having to drastically alter body position.   The Ultralight Poplar Woodcore represents a 20% weight saving over the already pretty light classic wood core. Generally used in combination with carbon stringers, axial weaves & various other flex/stiffness tuning additives to produce a super light weight high performance board.     Volkl’s thinnest topsheet yet. The Ultralight Topsheet,  at just 0.3mm thick is super light. Everyone could benefit from a bit of weight shaving.   Sections of the topsheet lacquer are impregnated with coarse, or fine grains, this Partial Grip Lacquer add grip & a very visually stimulating graphical design.   Horror Shock Absorbers are H shaped hardwood inserts in the binding areas.   They absorb the shock & vibrations from the board, reducing the amount that reaches your bindings. They also add overall strength & durability to the board, while enhancing the pop.   Wooden Sidewalls with TPU Dampening – Several different plys of Armor wood above a layer of shock absorbing thermal poly urethane.   This not only looks stunning,  but achieve a more consistent flex pattern than ABS sidewalls   POP 3.0 feature 3 full length strips of carbon. One running the length of the board from tip to tail, with the other two running the length of the

There is nearly no ski that is lighter & more stress free. Yet the BMT 94 is very light which allows a comfortable hike & insures a high-performance through the V-Werks construction. Furthermore it is extremely friendly to kick turns, excellent in traverse & thanks to its reduced width, fits into existing climbing tracks. Its unique technology really shines on the descent, where its very good power transfer & top control handle all snow conditions with grace & style. The BMT 94 is has a full carbon jacket construction & 3D shape which together create an exceptionally light, stiff & stable ski that offers a fantastic level of all-round performance & durability. This ski is constructed using a full-rocker profile, the benefit of this is that the short edge length under the binding counteracts the natural inertia had heaviness of a wider ski so that the ski is easier to turn on hardpack & gives more floatation & forginess in deeper snow. The thin profile that the carbon fibre allows them to use means that in deeper snow the ski can slice through the snow without getting hooked up. Ski

Is this for me? This ski is a tool that is designed for backcountry touring & freeride skiing, this 94 version, we think, offers the best balance of performance on all terrains & is the most versatile. The beauty of this ski is that whether you use a TLT, touring or downhill binding it will suit this ski. It has so many uses & really is the 1 ski quiver we have been waiting for.     SKI BINDING ADVICE: You will need a minimum 100mm brake width for this ski. If you are after a touring binding you could go for Marker Tour F12 EPF or a Fritschi Vipec. Whereas a Marker Griffon would be a great option as a standard binding.PLEASE NOTE: Only certain bindings can be mounted, please click on the downloads tab on our website for instructions & drawings! You can always go wider for your brakes but dont be tempted to go narrower. View our bindings department.
