The RTM 84 model has a moderate full rocker, which makes it unbelievably agile on & off the slopes. The RTM nevertheless deliver extreme control, even at higher speed ranges. Thanks to the outstanding power transfer of the i PT Wideride binding, the extra width remains nimble & precise yet offer more flotation for transitional snow & the side country. The XTD Transmission Sidewall is reinforcement belts aligned to channel stress toward the outside of the ski. This works with the sidewall construction to prevent chatter & ensure that the necessary pressure is applied to the edges at high speeds. This is paired with an extra wide titanium reinforcement above the ski deck. Created in a complex CNC milling process, the Extended Sensorwood Core is ‘extended’ upward & lengthwise, milled to form the chambers of the Dual XTD Transmission construction. It has amazing edge hold & control & feels smooth & stable at high speeds. Is this for me? As we have already said, this is & advanced/expert level ski that likes to be skied hard. One of the nice things about this ski is that it is all out performance but doesn’t have all the loud graphics you usually see on this type of ski, but still has that stand out German build quality that you can depend on. So If you are a strong skier that is all about performance but doesn’t want to shout about it then you should really be looking no further.
