The catalyst behind Line’s creation & their mission still today is the simple concept that a skier needs innovative product to progress their riding & the sport.  Line skis have been around since 1995, so are considered relatively new to the sport, but they were the ones that revolutionised the skiing industry & their input & design has led to the fat, powder skis that you see around resort today with their large sidecuts & twin tip design allowing skiers to really push the boundaries of where skiing can go. Although Line skis were initially known as the leaders in the freestyle park scene, they have not been timid about bringing creativity & ingenuity to the big mountain scene.  Since creating the ‘ Mothership’ by gluing two ski cores together & using snowboard width materials in the early 2000’s Line have expanded their focus on creating some of the most progressive big mountain & powder skis that today win top awards by even the most conservative of ski magazines. The Line Soulmate 90 is a new ski for the 2014 season & possesses the same unique powerful construction as the 98, it is simply narrower for enhanced quickness on firm terrain while maintaining plenty of float in the soft snow.
