The atomic nomad series are on one of Atomics’ best sellers & with the addition of ARC technology they have become even more popular.  They are perfect for people who ski mostly on piste, but who also like to venture off the side into softer snow.  With all mountain flex & step down sidewall 2.0 they take all snow conditions in their stride, While ARC Technology frees the ski to flex naturally for a smooth, natural ride. Atomic’s ARC technology uses only one mounting point in the centre of the ski.  Because your entire power is concentrated in that single point – the anchor point – the ski is able to flex easily & naturally, just like a bow.  The free-floating deck between the boot & ski supports that natural flex.  This makes the ski stay in contact with the ground.  The result is perfect traction & smooth natural rides with less effort, whatever the snow conditions. The Blackeye Ti all-mountain performance ski excels on prepared terrain thanks to the new ARC Technology. The advantage is that the ski remains in contact with the ground at all times whatever the snow conditions, thereby increasing traction & making it easier to control the ski. Plus the Step Down Sidewall 2.0 improves grip on compact snow, while a wood core & titanium inserts keep the ski smooth & stable. Off-piste the All Mountain Rocker & 81 mm waist width maximize the versatility & manoeuvrability of the Nomad Blackeye Ti. Ski

Atomic has completely redesigned the Vantage Panic for the new season: it now also features Carbon Backbone technology. Making it the ideal ski for advanced all-mountain twin-tip fans who prefer to ski mainly on piste but who also like to venture off-piste occasionally. The innovative Backbone carbon insert runs through the ski like a backbone for added stability & makes it especially dynamic. The two All Mountain Rockers in the tip & tail make the Panic exceptionally versatile: on-piste it makes it easier to initiate turns, & in soft snow the Rocker increases floatation. The tip-to-tail wood core cushions vibrations, making the ski smoother & saving the skier a lot of energy. SKI

Specification Geometry: 123mm-87mm-113.5mm Turn Radius:  18 Metres @ 173cm Terrain: All mountain conditions Core

Material:
Woodcore with carbon backbone Camber/ Rocker: All mountain rocker  Technology: Step down Sidewall to help drive power to the edges when carving Bindings:   FFG12 Bindings SKI FEATURES All mountain rocker: This is a 65% camber underfoot with the first 20% lifted in the nose & 15% lifted in the tail.  This mix allows the ski to still hold its edge very well on piste when engaged, but the tip is high enough to sit up in new snow & allows great float & easy turn initiation.  This set up allows for a very versatile ski. Step down Sidewall Woodcore with Carbon Backbone: The extremely durable sidewall construction below the binding ensures optimum absorption, while the Backbone & wood core maximize the power flow & therefore improve edge grip. Vibrations in the Rocker area are effectively dampened by the Backbone. Carbon is synonymous with agility thanks to maximum pop.
