Scott dates back to 1958, when Ed Scott revolutionized skiing by inventing the first aluminium ski pole. Since then, it has brought a series of innovative products to market & fundamentally positioned Scott as a technical product leader in the skiing market. Although they started relatively late in manufacturing actual skis (1998), due to their industry knowledge & sponsored riders they have since produced a number of price winning skis & set a number of benchmarks for the ski industry to follow. Easy to use & incredibly forgiveness, with a super-light construction for an exceptional skiing experience. The smooth, consistent flex allow effortless turns & make this a great vehicle for skiing in, then out, then in, then out of bounds again… Ski
Specification Geometry: 116mm / 76mm / 106mm Turn Radius: 13 metres at 165cm Terrain: Piste 60%, Off-piste 40% Core
Material: SSCL – Sandwich Sidewall Construction Laminate Lite Camber/ Rocker: Pro Tip rocker Technology: Venturi tip & Tail, Dual Radius, Factory finish, Women specific construction. Bindings: Flat deck only Ski Features SSCL – Sandwich Sidewall Construction Laminate Lite: The SSCL Light is designed for lightweight skis & women’s specific skis. The 100% poplar wood core with five milled air channels combined with a top & bottom laminate results in a lightweight core without sacrificing performance. Pro Tip Rocker: Pro-Tip Rocker features a combination of progressive shape & increased tip height & radius. SCOTTs Pro-Tip produces a more consistent ski flex & predictable turns. SCOTT skis using Pro-Tip Rocker simply track better than the competition & are available in three heights, catering specifically to the skis intended use. Dual Radius: Traditional skis have a fixed radius that determines the length of every turn. SCOTT skis combine two radii (dual radius) to create the sidecut or “shape” of the ski. By incorporating the Dual Radius concept, the ski can turn when you want it to turn, resulting in a more versatile ski which is not confined to one type of skiing or terrain. Factory Finish: SCOTT skis come direct from the factory ready to ski with SCOTT factory finish. Every factory finished ski leaves the factory with side edges ground at 89° & base edges ground between 0.5° & 0.8° for exceptional performance. The base is finished with a micro structured CNC stone grind so you can mount your skis & hit the hill, no tuning required.
