Scarpa Alpine Axial Technology, the new Zeus buckle design and the new Mono- Injected tongue work together to increase stiffness and distribute pressure more evenly to transfer movements of the foot and ankle more efficiently to the ski allowing greater edge to edge performance on freeride terrain. Features and Benefits Mirage Pro Ski-Walk System The new ski/walk mechanism allows the cuff to be locked/released providing stiffness for downhill control and walking comfort.
Evo V-Frame The design of the cuff stiffens the rear part by increasing the transmission of force in the movement of forward flexion of the leg. Air Ventilation The design of the cuff has holes covered with a membrane to increase breathability, keeping the foot dry and ventilated at all times. Predator RS Strap The closing band of the instep is equipped with a toothing which allows a dedicated micrometric adjustment, and abuts on a specific seat in the tooth. This allows a progressive closure and an excellent lateral support, allowing better distribution of the forces of thrust of the boot on the ski. Fitting Indicator System This is an indicator that allows you to fit the boot in to the binding in a precise and fast action which is particularly effective in deep snow or in

The brand and the boots seem to have a huge following which definitely gives us confidence in the brand. Is it for me? If you are in the market for the ultimate alpine touring boot with too many features to list, then this is definitely in with a shout. Please note these boots are specialist touring boots and will measure up shorter than traditional boots.
