Features & Benefits Custom Shell 360 The Salomon X-Pro 90w is a piste performance boot. Put together using Salomon’s newest technologies & features. They have stepped into their 3rd generation of custom shell technology this year with the 360° Custom Shell. The customizable area of the boot has been maximized from the previous version, so that the majority of the lower shell can be moulded, giving the skier complete wrapping without any pressure points. In a 20 minute process the boot can go from a 98mm last to a 104mm, so the shell has plenty of give for those lumps & bumps. Twin Frame This boot features Salomon’s Twin Frame technology, this makes the lower part of the clog much more rigid in its flex pattern, which gives the skier greater control & better balance. Oversized Pivot The X-Max also has an oversized pivot where the cuff is joined to the clog. This reduces play & weakness in the join giving extreme precision & a direct transmission of power to the edges of your skis. Power Strap The boot also has a 35mm Power strap, for increased power transfer & rebound. This gives a much better fit around the cuff of the boot allowing you better feel & drive through your boot & edges. Flex Adjuster At the rear of the shell you have a flex adjust bolt, that with a simple turn of an alan key can be made roughly 10% stiffer/softer depending on your skiing style ofr the terrain you are riding. My Custom Fit 3D Liner The liner in this boot is a patented pre-shaped 3 dimensional liner with thermoformable PE foam on the heel & ankle areas for an unmatched foothold. It will also assist in releasing pressure points in these areas. Women’s Specific The Liner & cuff of this boot are lower to accommodate women’s calf shape for supreme comfort. The cuff circumference can also be increased by 10mm to aid with comfort & fit.

Responsive, versatile & fun this ski is great for the intermediate skiers looking for a good solid ski that offers great precision & power thanks to the new XX-Chassis & full wood core Salomon are well known in the ski industry for producing solid dependable skis that are powerful & versatile yet still easy to ski on.  For the 2015 season they do not disappoint.  They have split their skis up into different categories to make things easier with their All mountain front side (piste orientated) skis falling into their X-series range, while the backside range becoming part of their Quest category.  Still utilizing their popular X-Chassis on a number of skis in their X-series range this diagonal carbon reinforcement placed mid ski adds torsional stiffness for great edge grip & stability, they use this with RKS rocker stabilization to really lock in the tips of the ski & this offers really easy turn initiation.  On their quest range they use many of these ideas from their piste side, yet incorporate the honeycomb tip to reduce the swing weight along with utility rocker for optimum flotation & control with excellent terrain absorption.
