A combination of 89mm underfoot, Light Rocker 10 tip & 1160grams in 177cm make the RESPONSE X a breath of fresh air in the Free-tour category. The RESPONSE X has received numerous accolades in the skiing press, thanks in part to its NORTH TPT technology construction. This ski’s width make it a favourite with free-tourers who are as motivated by the descent as the ascent. It grips superbly in hard conditions, floats through powder & loves spring snow conditions. The RESPONSE X is the ideal ski for long trips & multi-day tours, where the descent is as much the goal as the ascent Ski Technologies This ski features PSA technology, a  strip of wood placed horizontally in under-foot area. This year we have integrated new types of core in the X-series skis which are designed to maximise the durability of the skis & increase their resistance to impacts. All the X-series have a PSA positioned horizontally in the central area of the ski with a few centimetres overlap to the front & back of the binding position. This method is used for these models we want keep weight to a minimum   North TPT: This unique process of fibre layering is now used in a number of different industries (aviation, automobile, nautical etc.) where saving weight whilst maximising performance are a top priority. Every year we evolve our skis incorporating new developments from our non-stop R&D processes. After a number of successful seasons working with this revolutionary technology in the X-SERIES, we have now integrated the same technology in the new alpine Z-LINE range. Our research over the last few winters has shown that this type of construction provides incredible stability & resistance to deformation & ageing of the skis. Particular attention is paid to the binding area of the ski where fibres are strategically layered to guarantee high resistance to impacts.
